Maybe to make it more clear which part of the postseason this is?
I still don't understand the complaint.

And the fact that MLB used to avoid the names "Playoffs" and "Postseason". These were "Series".
Looks like they did it last year too.

If so, welcome. It takes some patience to appreciate the sport. You also have to deal with arcane rules. They don't do brackets like other sports. This year the postseason has four different series.
1) Wildcard
2) LDS - League Division Series
3) LCS - League Championship Series
4) World Series

It's the use of "postseason" instead of LDS or LCS. You got a brain problem or something?

They've been using the term postseason ever since the first World Series. It's an all encompassing term that includes all the sub-series. You've got no manners either.
