So what? The Royals lost their first two games at home in 1985.

They became the first team to be down 1 to 3 to win it.

Shields had too much time off.

I don't have a dog in this fight, so I'm sort of pulling for KC since it has been roughly 30 years since their last title while the Giants won 2 in the past 5 years.
