(81,801 posts)It was a great shot. The last two games of that series remind me of March Madness type games.

(64,419 posts)No way they win 2 out of three with Gasol not 100%. Pains me to say it, but i just don't see it.

(56,177 posts)I'd be happy for Cleveland if they didn't have LeBron...actually, I might even not begrudge them finally winning if LeBron had stayed put and not bolted and then come back.

(64,419 posts)Although i have to say that with Gasol not playing at all, that game was there for the taking. James and Irving had 55 points and they only by 5 on their home floor. But, like i said, no Gasol, no chance.

(29,322 posts)The scoring, rebounding, and 3pt shooting to spread the floor for those guys was a big part of Cleveland's success this season.

(64,419 posts)His loss made me quite confident about the Bulls advancing. But, even without Love, the Bulls aren't going to beat the Cavs without Gasol.
That puts them at 2 scorers and nobody to score in the post. Neither Butler or Rose can post up.

(31,061 posts)Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James says head coach David Blatt wanted him to inbound the ball on the final play of Sunday's Game 4 but he overruled the coach. Instead, James hit a game-winning jumper as time expired to give the Cavaliers an 86-84 series-tying win.
"To be honest, the play that was drawn up, I scratched it," James told reporters. "I just told coach, 'Give me the ball.' We're either going to go to overtime or I'm going to win it for us. It was that simple.
"I was supposed to take the ball out," James continued. "I told coach, 'There's no way I'm taking the ball out, unless I can shoot it over the backboard and it goes in.' I told him, 'Have somebody else take the ball out, give me the ball, and everybody get out of the way.'"

I happen to be of the mind that if I was coaching the Cavs, I'd be,"Do what you think is best, Lebron."
