http://sports.yahoo.com/news/james-harden--rockets-fumble-away-chance-to-steal-game-2-from-the-warriors-074856630.htmlHarden was mostly magnificent for the Rockets, pouring in another near triple-double with 38 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals on Thursday night. But he was left regretting the one shot he did not take after fumbling away the ball on the game's final possession to allow the Warriors to escape with a 99-98 victory and a 2-0 series lead....
After Howard got past half-court, Harden passed the ball to him in the final seconds. Howard had zero intention of shooting a desperation 3-pointer and fired the ball back to Harden. Harden was smothered by the two Warriors, and Curry quickly tipped the ball away. The buzzer sounded without the Rockets taking a shot....
Harden's emotions spilled over as he ripped down a curtain on the way to the locker room. He later muttered about a kicked chair. As soon as the All-Star got into the locker room, Ariza, Josh Smith and other teammates tried their best to calm him down and let him know there is still an opportunity to come back.

(78,249 posts)I'm really rooting against Dwight Howard.
But yeah, that means I'm rooting for Golden State.
GO WARRIORS!!!

(47,548 posts)Good coach who got some bad breaks?
Or glad to see him go and hope he drops dead?
If the latter, suppose San Jose finished a hundred miles out of the playoffs, but the Kings and the Oilers were in the conference finals. Would you root for the Kings to beat McClelland and the Oilers to keep him from The Cup?
That's how a lot of Laker fans feel about Dwight Howard. (Plus, Laker fans really haven't hated on Golden State since the Nate Thurmond days.)

(78,249 posts)I'm not sure I'd go quite that far, though. And McDavid or no McDavid, I imagine this scenario will remain conjectural for quite some time.
I was, however, looking forward to seeing McLellan in St. James Park (local homeless hangout) holding a cardboard sign reading "Will Coach For Food".

(10,893 posts)those foul-happy refs didn't call one there on the Dubs. I'll bet everyone in the Oracle was sweating bullets. I could hear them as the Rockets tried to take it up the floor for the final shot. That was a game for the ages!
