It was very interesting and sad. It was sad that after the career she had and being the first African-American to win Wimbeldon, she was broke until a friend put an ad in a Tennis magazine. I know that she was not well paid during her career, but it is still sad that at one point she could not pay her bills. Maybe she did not tell many people she was having financial troubles, but I wish more people would have helped her before the article in the Tennis magazine came out. I wish a school (maybe even a Historically Black College) would have hired her as a Tennis coach.

I was shocked that her dad made her box with him. Dang, I know her dad wanted her to be tough, but she could not be anything other than tough having gone through something like that.

Her story needs to be told more, especially in schools. Someone needs to make a movie about her.
