Related: About this forumYou'd think that ESPN would cover the Cardinals - Pirates game tonight? No, they have (what else?)..
the fucking Yankees - Red Sox game.
Followed by the similarly virtually meaningless Angels - A's.
Were all the Yankees - Red Sox games nationally televised again this year?
I'm sick of it!
The Polack MSgt
(13,182 posts)- they asked Buster why ESPN seemed to ignore the Redbirds. He said that if he started talking about ST Louis he'd only get 20 seconds before the producers started to signal him to wrap it up.
They chase the big markets, no matter what the records are, or how the races look.
Therefore, Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Angels and Cubs are in, mid market teams such as the Buccos and Cards are out.
It's Disney sports, not real sports.
Watch MLB TV they talk about the teams that matter in the pennant races

(16,113 posts)and again tomorrow night? Don't get me wrong, I'm a Sox fan and I'd rather watch the Cards-Pirates, but complaining that ONLY two of the three games were on national TV seems a little whiny to me.

And last night I went to bed in the 9th before the Cards finally scored. I hate pitchers duels!
