it was just the NFL championship. Starr had five NFL Championships prior to the Superb Owl.

I'd still take Montana, Elway, Brady, and maybe even Young. In fact, i'd take Marino ahead of Manning if he was playing on a team with a defense and a running game, which he only had one year.

Also, i think these numbers don't measure cool in a crisis. The first 3 guys i mentioned didn't tighten up in the clutch. Manning's overall playoff record is not as impressive as those of the other guys. (Well, maybe i'm overrating Elway a bit since his teams got killed in a couple SB's.)

Joe Montana's superbowl wins. He was a fantastic QB - I'll admit even better than Favre or Starr.
