Michael Irvin will not be charged after the Pro Football Hall of Famer was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a Fort Lauderdale hotel in March, according to multiple reports.
The State Attorney’s Office confirmed Monday morning that it isn’t filing charges in the case, reportedly due to a lack of evidence against the former Cowboys star.
The NFL Network analyst has denied the allegations and previously said video evidence showing the two leaving a room together would prove his innocence.
"This has been the most difficult period my family and I have ever had to endure,” Irvin said during a June press conference with his lawyer, Kenneth Padowitz, “to have to live through heinous false allegations.”
