Feel terrible for the American Male tennis player.......

he's in a quarter final.....and THE STANDS ARE EMPTY.....not empty empty, there are people there but so quiet, and lots of empty seats. He's a good guy.....not sure who he votes for.....but he's the only American Male still standing.....and he needs help and the crowd is not helping him. Not like they helped two American women.

and I will miss it all tomorrow night. Who was it? I can't remember who is still in. I could go look it up but now I am too tired. LOL, no real need to answer I can find out tomorrow. I just wanted to write something in a tennis post.

to bad the crowd is practly nill, and it's gotten quite loud for the South African, Anderson. Don't quite understand that. It was pretty packed for when the two American women, Sloan Stevens, and Venus played. The crowd I'm sur really helped each of them win. It was a thing of beauty watching those two matches. Sam tonight??? Don't get why there are so many empty seats, and why lotsa people are rooting for Anderson....don't get it. and it kinda makes me mad.

I had a horrendously long day into the night and today is going to be solid until after 11PM. Farm chores before and after all of that and all the time fretting about Tortola, BVI and Federer!

Too bad Sam lost. I like Anderson but I would have liked to see Querrey win.

Yes, people leave because they have to be in the office in 8 hours.

just wish he'd have more support, AND the cheers for his opponent are annoying. JMHO.

I thought it was low class in tennis to jeer opponents. I remember my mom playing in Laramie, Wyoming cheered over double faults and she remembers they cheered for double faults and also booed her so she thought this is ridiculous and proceeded to win her match using that as her motivation. Says it was OK to cheer regular points but not foot faults. I don't know the way she described the Laramie crowd was different than the typical tennis crowd based on how she describes it.
