Former Dallas Cowboys receiver Terry Glenn dead at age 43

Former Dallas Cowboys receiver Terry Glenn was killed in a car accident early Monday morning.

He was 43.

“Terry was someone that we all enjoyed very much in his time with the Cowboys. He was a gentle and kind-hearted young man. We are all terribly saddened by this news of his passing,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. “Too young and too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his loved ones and all of the people who were touched by his life.”

The accident occurred at 12:18 a.m. Monday. Glenn’s vehicle left his lane of traffic and struck a concrete barrier that divides the express lane and the regular lane, according to the Irving police. The vehicle rolled and the driver was ejected. The cause of wreck is undetermined at this time. A passenger suffered minor injuries.

“Terribly saddened to hear that news ... He was a guy we enjoyed around here ... Certainly way too early for a young man to pass away in a tragic accident like that,” Cowboys vice-president Stephen Jones said on 105.3 FM Monday morning.

It is sad. If he was thrown from the vehicle, most likely didn't have his seat belt on still_one Nov 2017 #3
