Craig James courts the knuckledragger vote

Former ESPN college football analyst Craig James is trying to woo voters with some anti-gay rhetoric.

James, running for a Senate seat in Texas, was at a candidate's debate and responded to the fact that, when his opponent Tom Leppert was mayor of Dallas, he marched in gay pride parades. Leppert said he is against gay marriage but as a Christian wanted to reach out to all people.

James said being gay was "a choice" and that "they are going to have to answer to the Lord for their actions." ...............(more)

Because of his involvement in the SMU death penalty. Football is more important to Texans than politics.

George AWOL Bush was a cheerleader. Rick Dumbass Perry was a cheerleader. Kay Hutchinson was a cheerleader.

That's what Texas wants.

I just wonder if ESPN hires him back after he loses by a landslide in the primary...I think I need to start a letter-writing campaign so they don't.

I forget where I read it but there was an article where someone interviewed the media relations woman for ESPN and they asked if CJ would be hired back if he lost the primary. The ESPN woman said there was no point in hypotheticals because ESPN/Disney doesn't plan on ever hiring him back.

When I saw he was running for the Senate and saw the photo, I recalled him, but only that I had seen him from time to time...pretty forgettable commentator.
