Congrats, I guess, on catching up with every body else.

Is this really a true story? Wow.

around us. That was before OU agreed to sell beer and wine at games this past year. We had people throw up on us, swear like sailors around our nieces and nephews who went to the games with us. It was NOT a family atmosphere. Selling it on site will just make it worse, the tailgating is bad enough.

Before you go off on me, we are not people who don't drink, we drink responsibly.

Important than not putting hundreds of drunken people on the road.

Who pays, who profits, who decides?

...and schools have different policies about alcohol on campus.

Of course, after the games there are usually hundreds of empty liquor bottles left in the stands!

the south shall rise again! patriotic southerners are tired of nanny states banning our natural right to get drunk while 'bama is kickin' our azz.

quite so drunk at half-time. Years ago at Commonwealth Stadium (University of Kentucky), a guy sitting in front of us was insanely drunk when he came back from half-time and it didn't take long for him to fall backwards on top of me after standing up to cheer. He had missed the seat with his ass.

People are going to be drunk at games anyway.

The first game the cutoff was the start of the 4th quarter but they moved up it up to the 3rd quarter the rest of the season. It is expensive to get drunk inside the stadium. Before with re-entry people would go to tailgate to get drunk and go back to the game.
