(6,278 posts)Probably saved Atlanta from the embarrassment Kansas City had Thursday, with fans booing a moment of unity

(81,181 posts)It's hard to understand why any spectators would boo.
I know some have. And I do not understand why.

(24,263 posts)They can't be accused of disrespecting the anthem, flag, military, police, god, apple pie, guns, whatever.
But some are going to argue that they are interfering with the game itself, even though the ball was kicked into the end zone and bounced out of the back of it, so the outcome of that play didn't change.
And it can be done at any time during the game when there is a kickoff.

(11,900 posts)Did it go into the end zone or not?
Mr.Bill
(24,263 posts)There was a man in the end zone who theoretically could have caught it and ran it out, but that is rare when the kick is that strong. But he was on one knee and clearly had no intention of catching it.
Ilsa
(61,691 posts)and I think it was out of bounds. No return available. But the special teams receiver was already taking a knee.

(1,910 posts)Not sure why Joe is not getting out ahead of this Hispanic voter issue. Hispanic leaders are all over the Sunday shows begging him to directly engage Hspanic voters. He needs to immediately hold a series of Hispanic town halls and let them explain their issues. He needs to announce at least 2 Hispanic people will be in his cabinet.
Its frustrating to be devoting time and money to help Joe get elected and see such a huge mistake brewing. The Hispanic voter will decide this election even more than the BLM voter.

(29,322 posts)As far as the Hispanic vote I saw the problem coming when we nominated Biden.
November 22, 2019When Carlos Rojas, an immigration activist, pressed Biden at an event in South Carolina on the issue of deportations during the Obama administration, Biden told Rojas, you should vote for Trump.
