Last day of the regular baseball season

I thought they did a pretty good job getting the season in. There were several here that predicted it wouldn't last 2 weeks. It's a political forum and that may have had something to do with it. Folks are upset that the Big 10 decided to play

As far as the rule changes
NL DH I am for it and think it's here to stay
Man on second to start extra innings- at first I was against it but have to admit it made that situation more exciting. Maybe make it happen in games over 12 innings
Expanded playoffs: this year only
7 inning doubleheaders not gonna happen

Any other rule than extra inning runner to "hurry up the game: changing pitchers etc I am opposed to. I love baseball and the longer the game the happier I am to listen.. the games aren't too long IMO

1. I liked the runner on 2nd base for start of extra innings but doing it the 12th makes bit more sense

to me as well.

- 7 inning double headers serves the players better but not the fans
- permanent expansion of playoffs would need less games played in the season as weather is way too uncertain to extend the season to November
