is this extended warranty worth it?

my sister is looking at a 2013 Subaru Forrester. 35,600 miles

they want $1300 for a 7 year 100K deal - I assume that is drive train only?

5. If it's the one from Suburu itself apparently you can shop around at different

dealers for the best price as long as you buy it before the car hits 36,000 miles.

2. here's my caveats:

1- Read ALL of the fine print, so you won't be screwed.
2- It's an insurance policy that probably requires you to spend your OWN money first and then be reimbursed.
3- You have to keep excellent records of your maintenance and repairs and keep your receipts.
4- I'd use it religiously as much as humanly possible.

I bought one years ago and never used it. I was lucky but then again I wasted my money. Caveat emptor.

4. yeah, that is how I am about most extra-cost warranties

but she gets lightheaded and her eyes glaze over when I even mention checking her own oil... (though to be fair, being the grandaughter and sister of ranchers, she can change a tire LOL)
