Anyone catch the 7hr / 19 inning ordeal in New York?
Highlights:
Longest game in the new Yankee Stadium.
Longest game by time in Boston Red Sox history.
Longest BOS/NYY game since 1967 by innings.
Had NYY not tied the game with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th... 10 innings and 4 HOURS of baseball would not have happened!
Every game in the majors had finished more than an hour before this game ended... including all west coast games (which started THREE HOURS later than this one began).
I'm going to bed.
