Paxton is Canadian by birth. We call him Big Maple because he's a pretty big guy, over 6' around 220 or so. Also, he has a large tatoo on his forearm of a maple leaf with a scene from a vacation cabin he loves from his childhood superimposed.

So getting his first no-no in Canada was a pretty big deal for him.

Giants Broadcaster, Jon Miller, informed us of about that achievement last night while my Giants were getting beat up the the Phillies, and even mentioned the tattoo.

Getting doused with blue Gatorade and pitching a no-hitter against the Blue Jays.
