Giants beat Cubs 5-0 behind wild Lincecum, 5 others
Bruce Bochy had flashbacks to Tim Lincecum's July 13 no-hitter in San Diego, and they weren't pretty.
"Believe me," Bochy said, "that was stressful."
Not for Lincecum, but for Bochy. The manager was uneasy leaving Lincecum in after 103 pitches through six innings, 114 through seven and 131 through eight.
Wednesday afternoon, Bochy had no such stress.
Saved by the blister.
