I get tired of watching umps calling balls as strikes. MLB needs to make more calls reviewable. The idea that an umpire standing 90 feet away from home is better equipped to make a call on a bam-bam checked swing than an ump viewing the slo-mo footage captured by the battery of cameras filming what is actually happening is ludicrous.

have kept things going had the checked swing been acknowledged. He’s still down two strikes and facing a pitcher that owns him.

I was pulling for the Giants. Damn.

He was calling strikes that were the width of the ball outside the box.

No more strikes called outside of strike zone; no more called balls that were easily strikes.

you could even put in enough cameras so that check-swings get called precisely too.
