Sometimes I go with my trainer, Blake, who is super nice. We do the intermediate stuff mostly. I'm 61 but look younger, maybe, and Blake is 27. I have a spare 2009 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp FSR (full suspension) bike you can ride that is really sweet.

I live over by MTRP and have been working to get back into riding shape. I may be interested in joining you. I do have to admit that I tend to sandbag the ascents in order to save myself for the trip down. I have two squishers and a HT 29er.

You could ride my Optibike if you want to cheat for a while. I ride an Easy Motion electric and do 5-10 miles usually. What's a squisher?

I'm a Giant guy and have a 2007 Reign X1 and a 2008 Trance X1. I may be hitting Lower Otay Res tomorrow afternoon on the singlespeed 29er if you're interested. It's an easy, undulating bit of single with no real ascents that runs along the shoreline. 9 miles from the dam at Uppers to the dam at Lowers and back.
