Robins - they love grapes

I'll be buying grapes this week - on sale for .99/lb, because I know the robins will be passing through and they go crazy over grapes, any color.

If you put out about 10 grapes somewhere where they can be seen from the sky, a robin will come. Never failed yet. And it's Feb...

Last year they came back and we had snow on the ground. I threw so many grapes out and they kept landing on the patio and staring inside. Raisins will do, and a bit of jelly here and there will do it.

Am in Michigan - in the thumb. Don't think we had even 2 inches of snow this year so far, well, maybe 3, but that's all.

Unless the robins have better infomation about what's coming, I think they may start mating early to get in another "litter" before fall.
