I am so excited.

I have nesting raptors on the property. The crows are on high alert and the resident mockingbird has suddenly become so chill. I'm waiting for the blue birds to start this year's nest. It's a beautiful world.

Love, peace and shelter,

I told you, I'm excited.
There is an owl here somewhere.
I only hear the owl at night. The hawks were out today.

We have hawks in the neighborhood, but have an owl on our property at the corner of our house. He or she starts hooting around 5-6pm, and talks to another one down the hill at the other cul-de-sac for a few hours each night. We love to hear them talk back and forth.

I'm away on biz but Mrs Loblaw sent me a photo of a sharp shinned hawk perched on our fence this afternoon. A possible pairing there as well as a couple of red tails. Good birding.
