Difficult to get such clarity, through window (upstairs) and branches, surprised it worked so well.

I can only shoot with my phone camera, which is very good but hard to keep still.

Basically I came in to tell you that our first Osprey came this morning. Just one, usually there are 2 or more as they migrate through but this will probably be a short visit. It is just too cool outside all this week for the fish to even come up and make themselves known. I love the twice yearly times that they come through. My entire wall almost in my living room looks out onto the pond with a large bank of windows and I can watch them all the time.

Enjoy!

Nikon does it for me, no 'smart' phone here, and weather's good in southern MD, so 'my' pair usually arrives around St. Pat's Day. This pic is through my bedroom window, surprised at the clarity due to twigs; my constant view is the other side of my house, so over a river, NO constant view of ospreys! Will go out later for a direct view of the nest, on the creek.
