How Fast do Osprey Chicks Grow?

Both our chicks now enter a Sigmoidal Growth Curve. An S-shaped, super-fast accelerated growth spurt will end at around five weeks old – slightly earlier for males.

We ring our chicks once they reach the plateau of this Sigmoidal growth curve. If the yellow netting is still there, we will remove it.
