from hatch to fledgling. Same with eagles, it's amazing.

They are so amazing. There was a study I used to quote in my wildlife birds talks which claimed that osprey take up to seven years before breeding because they have to learn to be experts at fishing. I thought that was amazing too.

'Mine' aren't tagged, so never get to see what/when happens to the 'kids,' 'just' see the adults + new kids each year (and think of where they are.)
