His benching of Carr is just an attempt to make him the scapegoat for his sorry job of coaching. He inherited a playoff team and the best receiver in the the game and a top running back and the team is getting destroyed again...in their home stadium.

Raiders made the move to avoid injury to Carr, which would have cost them them tens of millions in guaranteed salary. By dropping him now the dead salary-cap hit on Carr is only $5.625 million.

I just heard the Broncos got permission to talk with Sean Payton.

Mark Davis could've done that. He's certainly not his father. Now we're stuck with a retread, two-time losing coach for another year.
