1. Time will tell....

If Van Gaal can't get Man U back to Fergie status within the EPL he's going to have a long year.

2. It isn't going to happen overnight

But will Van Gaal be given the time, resources and patience?

6. Have they ever been relegated?

This might be their year the way things are going!

7. With as much money as Van Gaal has put into this team....

if he doesn't win a cup or two he's going to have some trouble. MU won't get relegated but they will probably make the supporters worry more than they should.

8. Only Arsenal have never been relegated

MU as recently as the seventies, I think.

I used to be a beast when it came to pub trivia questions.

3. That was an interesting start to the EPL this year.

Commentators said Swansea had never won before at Old Trafford.

4. He'll need to buy...

His current squad is just awful - a mid-table team at best.

With no Champions' League on offer and with agents sensing United's desperation, all prices will have gone up 50%.

5. He definitely got his checkbook out during the window...

Whether he bought the right players is yet to be seen.

9. Leicester City 5 Manchester United 3

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29196081

Leicester City fought back from 3-1 down to secure a stunning victory over a defensively frail Manchester United.

United were on course for a win when a Robin van Persie header and a magical Angel Di Maria chip put them ahead.

Leonardo Ulloa's header reduced the deficit before Ander Herrera's back heel extended United's lead.

But Leicester hit back through a David Nugent penalty and Esteban Cambiasso equalised before Jamie Vardy and an Ulloa penalty secured the win.
