Passport

Rescheduling my European trip twice already and thinking ahead that I may have to reschedule my May trip, but after that my passport's expiration date is too close for traveling, so I decided to get my passport renewed.

Reading in the news how long it takes to get a passport, I was pleasantly surprised that it only took four weeks. Exactly four weeks to the day that I mailed in my application to getting my new passport in the mail.

I hope that I don't have to reschedule the May trip, but now I am prepared!

I changed my name back to my maiden name shortly before the quarantining started so mine is good until 2029. Hopefully I'll get to use it.

We did that after our trip to the UK in 2015. Ours were set to expire in June of 2016. Ours are good until 2026. We went to Australia in 2018. A friend of mine snd I are planning a Fall 2023 trip to the UK. By then, things should be more normal.

I plan to renew mine again early because I will likely be traveling with friends, God willing. My husband will be in his early 80's and who knows what his health status will be like then.
