I think I have jet lag

I had a restless sleep. Dry mouth. I can't think of anything that sounds good to eat. I finished Gatorade I opened last night, diet ginger ale, hot tea with honey, toast, and some frozen berries with real sugar. I usually avoid sugar, but thought it'd be ok till I feel better. I made some s.f. jello, next on the menu.

Does anyone have any tricks that might make me feel better, quicker? Sincere thanks.

best is try to get on location schedule. b vitamins might help, but mostly it is sleep cycle related.

2. How many time zones did you cross?

The general rule is that for every time zone you cross, it will take about 24 hours to adjust. So, one time zone, one day. Seven time zones, a week. This is why I am crazed by all the people who complaining bitterly about the change from standard time to daylight and back again. People will swear it takes them months to adjust, which simply isn't going to be true. Even if they otherwise have never crossed a time zone in their lives.

It is a 5 hr. difference, because Iceland observes GMT. I'm starting to feel a little better now. I'll be so glad when I am feeling normal!

My cat doesn't observe time change. If she eats at 9 a.m. that when sheeats, no matter what the clock says.

3. Jet lag has two causes

First is the schedule shift. The second is the slight radiation positioning that you received, which depresses your melatonin levels. Just drink water and take melatonin if you have it or get out to the store. Melatonin is actually FDA approved as a medicine for jet lag, it slipped in as an over the counter supplement when the rules were standardized in 1995.

Getting proper hydration will help your body clean out and improve circulation and even mood.
