This Presidential Candidate is Only Slightly Worse Than the Current Republican Slate

May 3, 2014
By Hemant Mehta

Darrell Trigg wants to become the next president.

And just wait till you hear his platform for the Christian Party:

Separation of Church and State will be changed to the Union of Church and State. God will be asked to be an integral part of the government of the U.S.

The Bible will be a standard required subject in all public schools and universities, for all grades, the same as English and Math.

Each day of school will begin with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Homosexuality will not be recognized legally, or in any other manner, by the United States government or any state, city, or county government.

The income of coaches of sports teams at universities will be limited to $300,000 per year .

Married couples who become pregnant must attend Christian parenting classes.

Well, I’m with him on the salary thing…

Strangely enough, he allows for certain exceptions when it comes to abortion and marijuana use — putting him to the left of many current conservative politicians.

1. Separation of Church and State will be STRICTLY enforced. Stiff penalties will be attached for any infractions.

2. Religion has no place in government. If you want to live in a Theocracy, than move to a country that is currently under religious control.

3. There will be no prayers or pledges of allegiance in public schools.

4. There will be equality for ALL. That includes homosexuals.

5. The income of coaches will be limited to $200,000.00 per year. He included CEO's on his list and I am in 100% agreement with that. I lowered it by $100,000.00.

6. Why Christian parenting classes? What about all the other religions and Atheists ? Your way or the highway approach when it comes to religion ?

After listening to this video I think this man suffers from delusions of grandeur.

Just another in the long list of "God" told him to run.

"God" certainly backs a lot of losers.
