Here's what cbayer said exactly. Let her own words speak. She's apparently conceding a point Brettongarcia Aug 2014 #6

It's very refreshing to see people of color demonstrating that it's OK to be an atheist. It is definitely true that both Black and Latino culture in the US are highly religious. I also find it interesting how they acquired their religiosity. The African Americans through their slave owners and the Latinos through their colonial masters.
There is an interesting dynamic. Africans, traditionally, tend to be animists and their religious beliefs are in harmony with, and integral to, their environment, while whites tend to be evangelists, adopting and peddling imported religion, then tailoring it to suit their needs. Blacks leave their religions behind when they are uprooted and whites carry theirs with them.

By the way? Ms cbayer thereabouts seems there to "concede" that there was Religious privilege in the Democratic Underground religion section. To use her own language.

I couldn't be less interested than reading your recent post to another member.
Why don't you start your own thread about the "Privilege of the Intellectually Pompous"?

Guess what? She concedes to me all the time when I act like an idiot, which I admit that I do, occasionally. What's your excuse?

And, BTW, the discussion in the other thread is over. The decision came in. Maybe you missed it. But for your enjoyment here is the result http://www.democraticunderground.com/1218146632#post298
