Eliel Cruz's Faithfully LGBT gets a start on the Religion News Service

The site Religion News Service has a new writer. Eliel Cruz will blog a column called Faithfully LGBT.

'We’re thrilled to have Eliel join the RNS blogger line-up,' RNS Publisher Heidi Thompson said in a statement.

'His writing is provocative and exciting,' she continued. 'Whether its confronting racism, challenging anti-religious discrimination within the LGBT community, or taking on degrading images of women in pop culture, he just doesn’t let anyone off the hook.'

In his first post, Cruz describes himself as 'a bisexual Christian who’s not ashamed of who' he is.
