Hillary Clinton doesnt talk a lot about her faith. A lifelong Methodist, Clinton suggested at a faith forum in 2007 that while faith plays an important role in her life, she doesnt wear it on her sleeve.
When she was asked by CNNs Soledad OBrien about her husbands infidelity, she said, Well, Im not sure I would have gotten through it without my faith.
And, you know, I take my faith very seriously and very personally, she said. And I come from a tradition that is perhaps a little too suspicious of people who wear their faith on their sleeves, so a lot of the talk about and advertising about faith doesnt come naturally to me.
At the same forum, she spoke of how important prayer is to her life. She joked that sometimes her prayer is, Oh, Lord, why cant you help me lose weight? She said she prays for discernment, wisdom, strength, courage, friends and family.

(36,988 posts)Through all of her years in Washington, Clinton has been an active participant in conservative Bible study and prayer circles that are part of a secretive Capitol Hill group known as the Fellowship. Her collaborations with right-wingers such as Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) and former Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) grow in part from that connection. "A lot of evangelicals would see that as just cynical exploitation," says the Reverend Rob Schenck, a former leader of the militant anti-abortion group Operation Rescue who now ministers to decision makers in Washington. "I don't....there is a real good that is infected in people when they are around Jesus talk, and open Bibles, and prayer."

(146,218 posts)any one else. While it seems certain that she took place in prayer groups, that's about as far as it goes. "Collaboration" is wildly speculative and I tend to think her involvement was primarily political.
Did you know they don't even allow women to be full members?
And was is the most important word.
He did his research on the family over 8 years ago.
Is there any evidence that she has been involved in any way since then, other than the Prayer Breakfast?
