4. It's always funny to watch Christians revolt against popular culture...

...just to appropriate it ten years down the road.

They did the same thing with The Simpsons. When I was a kid, every other sermon was about the evils of Bart Simpson. Now, books have been written detailing the seriousness lurking just beneath the "eat my shorts" jokes.
