Religion supporting refugees: Pope Francis urges European churches to open doors to refugees

Pope Francis implored Catholic institutions throughout Europe to show mercy to the flood of refugees arriving on their shores by offering them shelter.

"May every parish, every religious community, every monastery, every sanctuary of Europe host a family, starting from my diocese of Rome," Francis said at the end of his Angelus prayers in Rome on Sunday.

"The two parishes in the Vatican these days will welcome two families of refugees."

11,000 x 2 = how many refugee families?

I bet they'll put up a page asking for financial assistance to deal with so many people at once. Do you want the link so you can actually do something to help them?

I actually don't think anyone has made the claim here that religion is never a motivation for doing good. The claim instead, the one that gets disputed all the time here, is that religion can also be a motivation for evil.

Would you agree that religion can also be a motivation for doing evil?

If not when the religious motivation is bad, then why when the religious motivation is "good"?

Your hilarious failures at pointing out logical fallacies would be just plain sad.

If you need religion to persuade you to do them then you just lack empathy.

Do try to keep up.

Since according to you, religion can't ever motivate someone to do something bad, then it can never motivate them to do good either.
