How much of "you" do "you" really know?

The Universe is (my apologies for the metaphor) the Body of God, just as our bodies are our bodies. And [Macrocosm-Microcosm; As Above, So Below] just as the visible Universe is all one can see of “God”, our bodies are all one can see of “Us”. The physicists tell us that we can only see about 4% of the Universe, that 96% of it is “invisible” and they call it “Dark Matter” & “Dark Energy”. Theists would just call it “God” or “Spirit”. Likewise, might not 96% of “Us” be invisible? Shall we call it “soul” or “spirit”?

because that's what makes the equations balance. It's entirely possible that the math is wrong.

Sure, we can call it spirit, or soul.

We can also call it that wonderful dark chocolatey part that makes the universe taste so damn good.

Call it what you will, it's still still dark matter. Just because you don't know what it is doesn't mean it's therefore God.

I mean, by your logic, 200 years ago, all the little things that made up our visible bodies was God. Now, we call them molecules. And atoms. And quarks, and gluons, and all sorts of weird stuff. Since you seem to be interested in physics, you might want to check them out. And do a little more reading on dark matter while you're at it.

This seems to be a common refrain among the religious. Never understood why it catches on.

We have evidence of the 95% of the Universe composed of 'dark matter' and 'dark energy'

There is no evidence whatsoever that any of our thoughts happens outside of our brains.

No sign whatsoever of a “soul” or “spirit”. Until then, it stays what it is, woo woo.

You may be ruled by materialism without realizing it. Do not let it confront the growth of your journey. Greed is the antithesis of coherence. You must take a stand against ego.

We must learn how to lead heroic lives in the face of discontinuity. Eons from now, we seekers will exist like never before as we are re-energized by the biosphere. It is a sign of things to come.

Our conversations with other dreamweavers have led to a maturing of pseudo-advanced consciousness. Reality has always been aglow with lifeforms whose souls are baptized in grace. We are in the midst of a zero-point maturing of guidance that will remove the barriers to the multiverse itself.

May I convert to whatever it is you are preaching?

Your soft and mellow string of vague affirmations is bringing me a feeling of fuzzy joy.

I feel interconnected with the eons of the galaxy. I want to melt into the great Unity.

but you might find more receptive responses in another religion/spirituality form
