Maher Thanks Trump for Exposing Evangelicals as ‘Shameless Hypocrites’

Bill Maher ended his show tonight by thanking Donald Trump for the “one good thing he did”: exposing Evangelicals as “shameless hypocrites.”

And for an outspoken atheist like Maher, it was good that “Republicans didn’t play the Jesus card this time around” because of who they nominated.

“Trump has nothing in common with Jesus!” Maher cried. “Jesus healed the blind, Trump mocks the handicapped. Jesus turned the other cheek, Trump grabs your pussy. Jesus turned water into wine, Trump just whines.”

And then Maher did something he never thought he would ever do: thank the Mormons. Why? Because most of them have outright rejected Trump.
