The Apocalypse Didn't Start Sunday, Here's Why You Shouldn't Be Surprised

Eric Mack , CONTRIBUTOR

The end of the world is back, or more accurately, it never stopped being a thing. According to the latest predictions from Christian prognosticator and "researcher" David Meade, who believes the Biblical End Times is tied to the appearance of an as-yet hidden planet named Nibiru or Planet X, "the beginning of the Tribulation occurs on October 15."

"That’s when the action starts," Meade wrote on his website. "Hold on and watch – wait until the middle of October and I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed."

The idea is that seven years of solar flares and other catastrophes could kick off on Sunday, leading to the rapture of true believers and some awful times for everyone else.

Problem is, NASA and other scientists have debunked the idea of a hidden planet in or approaching the inner solar system any time in the foreseeable future. There are indications of an unseen planet in the far reaches of the solar system, way, way beyond Pluto and Neptune, but this is not the same as a planet that could allegedly crash into or pass near Earth.

It's also worth noting that no major religious leaders have made similar predictions and that Meade promotes and sells books on his theories (as well as on how to make money from writing and researching).

With Jobu, who seriously crashed into the Cleveland Indians planet.... causing chaos and devastation of loyal fans.

It was in fact, the "End Times" for MLB 2017 for them.

Maybe next season.

Based on my calculations from the Book of Daniel, we have until July 20, 2020 to repent of our error or face utter destruction.
