Occasionally someone asks atheists if they would believe if God showed up in person. Here's the answer: No. We wouldn't, actually.

Plane Passengers Restrain Passenger Claiming to Be God
An unruly airline passenger with a God complex had to be restrained by other travelers when she tried to open the cabin door while the plane was mid-flight, officials said.
I am God! I am God! I am God! the woman shouted aboard the SkyWest Airlines flight from San Francisco to Boise, Idaho, on Monday, moments after she attempted to open the door, CBS News reported.
Video of the noon chaos aboard Flight 5449 shows another traveler tying up the womans feet as another man holds her down in the aisle of the 73-passenger plane.
The flight, which was operating as United Express, landed safely in Boise, SkyWest spokesman Layne Watson said in a statement.

Lightning doesn't care. It's just electricity, and can't think.
However, I'd have been at home that day. As an atheist, I don't normally go to churches.

Everyone knows God is a man. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all male. A woman could never be God.

Perhaps they'll be back soon and weigh in. Meanwhile, it's up to us to keep the conversation alive, I guess.
