My experience with the YMCA

The local Y had a baseball field in the back with an extremely short left field fence. I spent many an idyllic afternoon there.

The Chicago Y used to hold monthly comic book swaps in their basement. I bought my first Jack Vance book there. He became my favorite writer. I was able to meet him years later.

Insult a Boy Scout - get black eye. I don't think that's part of Scout training.

But, hey, it's fun to stay at the YMCA, I understand.
