And i am a self admitted agnostic. So even if the end of days comes, i will be on the step arguing about which god i have to thank for salvation.
Things on DU have gotten a bit ugly lately, all over the color of smoke apparently.
I have a deep appreciation for the art and literature generated by the faithful, so this an easy thread to respond to!
So I am just asking, post the best human created image of a piece of art that has inspired you in your beliefs (can be a text as well, i find text most inspirational).

I saw a large print of this when I was young. Though I didn't have the historical philosophical context at the time, it instilled in me the Romantic, Sublime ideal coming from an agnostic view of nature informed by the enlightenment.
Nature as grand and awe inspiring without the need for an intelligent designer.
