Metal is the orthodox position, plastic is clearly heretical. kwassa Aug 2013 #12

Good for the Czech Republic, and good for that believer.

The phrase is not an "act of religious freedom".

the Holy First Prophet Joxer, who wore a flattened metal collander as a breastplate. This should settle the heretical status of plastic, and certainly calls into question the schismatic usage of wearing such a sacred object on the (possibly unwashed) head.

you could say he was a sort of exhibitionist. Or he has the other form of Attention Deficit Disorder, where he feels he's not getting enough attention unless he's doing something outrageous.

Of course, when my company adopted its disasterous software, and I freaked out somewhat, I did tell my supervisors, "You can believe that I'm evil, that I really want to hurt this company, or that I'm stupid, that I just can't possibly understand this stuff, or that perhaps I see something that the rest of you don't."

Given my associates degree in computer network administration, they at least had to consider the latter alternative...

with that software, even today. It takes a new person a long time to learn it, even after a most extended training course, they make serious mistakes for almost a year.

Yeah, they know I was right, but the groupthink of our management "team" doesn't question what comes from The Big Giant Head. I put the word "team" in quotes, because there have been numerous firings and ship jumpings of those most intimately involved in the project to bring us the software.

Very frustrating.

I was involved in a massive software implementation for electronic medical records.

While there was actually a lot of teamwork, it was a nightmare start to finish.

but I am afraid this gentleman has some actual psychiatric issues that might need to be addressed. I enjoyed all the jokes but suspect that this might be "something". Sorry, the nurse in me just could not ignore the signs. Yes, I know there are many folks out there with true mental illness who look and dress "normally" but there is a feeling of problems there. I take a risk that I will draw criticism of all types....but sometimes.....you just have to say what you feel.

He's been previously described as a prankster and there are others in the country that have done the same.

I'm with you when it comes to mocking the mentally ill, but the information I have would lead me to believe that that he is not.

I surely do understand and appreciate your concern, though.

"I dare you".

"How much?"

"How much what?"

"How much you pay me to wear this pot on my head?"

"Nuttin'. I just know you're a chickenshit if you don't wear it."

And then the clerk said...."Next..."
