Very strange entity photo

This entity looks like a primitive warrior. At first it looked fish-like, but the more I looked at it, the more I thought it could go in at the neck, thus making it look less fish-like. It seems to be decorated with (perhaps) war paint?

I sent it to a friend of mine who collects art from other cultures. She remarked:

A head in profile w/ warpaint or markings of some kind on the face and then the "body" goes into a point at the bottom - or the figure is not completely visible. Definitely weird!


If you click the above link, be sure to look at the link at the end of the first paragraph, as they have lightened the photo and tried some other effects to bring out what it might be.

1. A photoshopped image of an American Indian?

It appears to be larger than the people in the picture.

2. I feel it is bogus.

What has happened more likely is, there was smoke rising from a cigarette at the bottom, and then the photo was airbrushed to make the smoke look like an Indian. They manipulated the smoke and that is why it is out of proportion.
It's definitely a hoax.

3. in a follow up

On a Coast to Coast show, the host said he posted the photo on Twitter or Facebook or some place like that (I'm not a social media person, so I didn't go there). One of the things he said, though, was that the photo got a large number of comments. I'm thinking he said nearly 300, but not sure.

Many others reported seeing a being of this type in other photos. Comments came in from around the world, which is not surprising, as C2C has an international audience.

I only listened to this part of the show once, and meant to go back and listen again. If I do, I'll post more. If I recall, however, the comments from others would lead one to believe that this is a type or "race" of beings.

So it's not a medicine man or shaman, as I had wondered.
