Having not heard back from "The Straight Story", and seeing that there's a desire to have this, I'll post an "official" thread for April. 
First, I'd like to send more healing thoughts to TSS and hope that things are getting better for you.
So, now it's April (already!) This is the month of active renewal. I just had the pleasure of "visiting" spring early by visiting with relatives in Washington, DC. I'm always in true awe of nature's rebirth!!
Prayer Of Affirmations – A Navajo Prayer
O you who dwell In the house made of the dawn,
In the house made of the evening twilight . . .
Where the dark mist curtains the doorway,
The path to which is on the rainbow . . .
I have made your sacrifice.
I have prepared a smoke for you.
My feet restore for me.

These are really scary, unsettling times, imho. I am so sorry you're feeling rejected and all the ickiness that accompanies that.
I was thinking earlier today how I also feel rudderless and even lonely. I am a loner, and have always preferred to be a loner, so this "lonely" feeling is very new to me.
I sat with it a bit this morning, trying to understand what I was feeling, and one thing that came to me is that so many of us simply don't feel appreciated. We don't want people blowing smoke up our ass or fawning over us -- we just want to feel appreciated by kindred spirits, and to FIND kindred spirits.
Please know YOU are greatly appreciated by we kindred spirits.
