2. UU's are pretty much ignored at Democracy Underground as well.

Even the main "Religion" group has an anti-religion bias that is tangibly hostile to UU (and freedom-based religion in general). Tried to get the almost-dead "Seekers of Other Faiths" group re-designated to include UU's, and they didn't like that. Here at Christian Liberals & Progressive People of Faith, I feel a liberal Christian emphasis, which might work for some UU's but not for most. I tried to get a new subgroup started, just for those of us who subscribe to the "freedom hermeneutics" in religion...to freedom "within" religion...but got a run-around on that as well, and dropped the effort (...and have been focusing instead on my "Faith of the Free" Facebook page*). Bucky's right about UU being ignored in society, but I am honestly not sure where UU's really belong here at Democracy Underground either. There should be such a place, I think, and if any of you would like to join with me in getting that subgroup started, I would appreciate the support. Just let me know, OK?
