Why anti-Israel protests are anti-Semitic

We've discussed this issue last summer and previously.

My example has been from 2006, during the war in Lebanon. Two opposing rallies were in Miami (I think) and a woman wearing Islamic garb was screaming at the other group: Jews, go back to the ovens.

And that famous "Moran" style guy in New York with a banner "Kill all the Juice."

But now comes the Opera about the murder of Leon Klinghoffer by terrorists who seized the cruise ship Achille Lauro in 1985.

The NY Metropolitan Opera has been showing the opera written about it, an opera which attempts to show the terrorists' point of view.

Klinghoffer was not an Israeli, was not a member of AIPAC, I doubt that he had any connection with Israel. But an American Jew was murdered as part of the fight with Israel.

And, of course, last summer we had the attack in the Jewish museum in Brussels.

So, yes, all the talk about being "anti Israel, not anti Semitic" are a bunch of nonsense.
