An Israeli friend of mine directed my attention to BDS

How prevalent is BDS among Democrats? Can anyone point me to some good info? There's so much malicious crap and disinformation out there especially against George Soros who apparently has funded NGOs?

Ugh this is a bit distressing. They sure do know how to wedge us.

That stands for boycott, divest and sanctions. It appears there are "non-government organizations" behind this movement and Soros is a major funding source. The BDS-ing is to be done against Israel.

I am not trolling. This is honestly news, or fake news, to me. I am just looking to know how to respond to my Israeli friend. Or maybe I don't respond? There has been so much Russian trolling of Soros and then there are the Evangelicals.

I am at war with "conservatives." I have grown to hate them. Really. I hate the lying and they are all lies.

Younger people are less supportive of Israel, especially non-religious people. Day-to-day Democrats are not usually BDS.

The movement is greatly feared in Israel for good reason.

A lot of university's student associations have tried to adopt divestment measures with very limited success.

The single biggest issue is the fact that the leaders and founders of bds promote a one state solution, which is a non starter. Often it's not explicit, because it's referred to as enforcing un res 194.

Eta many Jews, including myself, consider the movement Antisemitic.
