Congresswoman Ihan Omar says Jews accuse her of antisemitism because she is Muslim.

Fellow Muslim Congresswoman Rashid Harbi Tlaib "and I are Muslim. A lot of our Jewish colleagues, our constituents and allies go to thinking that everything we say about Israel is antisemitic because we are Muslim. To me, it is something defined to end the debate,” Omar said earlier this week while speaking at a Progressive Issues Town Hall in Washington, D.C.

She said that she knows what intolerance looks like and is “sensitive when someone says “the words you used, Ilhan, are the sentiments of intolerance.

“I am cautious of that and pained by that,” she continued. “But it is as if every time we say something that is supposed to be about foreign policy or engagement or the efficacy of ending oppression or the freeing of every human life and wanting dignity, we get labeled by something that end the discussion, because we end up defending that and no one gets to have the proper debate about what is happening in Palestine.”

1. The problem ISN'T about her being criticial of Israel, or disagreeing with people on Middle East

or the Israeli/Palestinian issues, the problem she is pushing the theme that those disagreements are because they have "Allegiance to a Foreign Country", Israel in this context, that is "dual loyalties", and not only is that offensive, that is anti-Semitic.

Ironically, what she is accusing others of, she herself can be accused of the same thing.

She is doing this to herself, you can't blame people for being upset when you accuse them of dual loyalties

Why didn't she say something like, "we should have a more balanced approach" on the Israeli/Palestinian issue, or specifically argue why she believes our policy is misguided. Instead, she goes to accuse those who she disagrees with on these issues as having dual loyalties.

This is not the first time she has done this, even after her first apology, she turns around and does the same thing based on the link supplied above. That is not a poor choice of words, that is a pattern of behavior that she truly believes.

7. She's using Muslim as cover

If she was any religion, other than Muslim, she'd have been driven out of Congress.

Maybe she and Steve King can go re-start the Know-Nothings or something (not to pick on the Know Nothings, but I can't remember any other obscure political party)
