and a bit less familiar with the concept of The Messiah, I am confused by Trump's talk of the Second Coming for Jews.
I am assuming he is simply as ignorant of Judaism as he is of Christianity and merely yakking out of his butt again, but is there any reality that he may have stumbled across to lead him to make this claim?

(537 posts)The Old Testament describes a future Messiah to come. The Jews rejected Jesus as that Messiah. Apparently, they were/are looking for more a political vs. spiritual leader. Thus the cynical "King of the Jews" inscription on the cross.
Notice Trump deftly said 2nd coming of "God" rather than Christ.
But we have to wonder what he thinks the 1st coming was...

The Messianic Age looks pretty good.
And, it shows Trump talking nonsense again.
