Time travellers may be present at the memorial service for Stephen Hawking, with the charity set up in his name stating it cannot rule out the possibility.
A ballot set up to allow members of the public to attend the event appears to allow anyone born within the next two decades to apply, even though it is set to take place in June.

I'm not clear on the details, but I think I recall that women had ruined his life but that he had figured out how to travel through time, either to correct the timeline or to travel to a time when women were less uppity or something. He just needed funds to complete the journey, I think.
It's not inconceivable that he was fibbing, though, so he may not show up.
